Doris was an au pair near the New Hampshire border. Very down to earth, unpretentious and sweet she came to all my parties, in Cambridge and at the cabin. She loved to sing, especially Counting Crows' 'Long December' which we did in harmony. Her going away party was at a karaoke bar where she sang alot, drank alot and kissed me goodbye in the driveway.
